Refugees Defy Their Own Circumstances To Help The Homeless In Greece

Refugees in Greece are defying the cold, and their own circumstances, to help the homeless.

Three times a day Adel, his friend Adnan, and European volunteers visit the homeless in Thessaloniki (in Northern Greece) handing out meals.

When asked, Adel (from Aleppo) says “it’s about the human. It’s not about refugees, it’s not about Greek people, it’s about the human. I don’t care if they are Greek and I am a refugee, I am from Syria, I don’t care – they are still human”
