Breaking down language barriers for refugees

Not being able to speak a language properly when trying to settle into your new host country as a refugee can be a huge obstacle towards integration, employment and overall happiness.

That is why we are incredibly proud to support Language: A Gateway, an amazgin project set up by our partners at RefuAid which sets refugees on a journey to earn crucial IELTS and FCE certificates – language qualifications which will enable them to access employment and higher education.

Their funding covers course materials, examination fees and travel expenses. With your donations and the goodwill of language professionals people like Karim and Nader (pictured) will have access to inimitable opportunities, enabling them to support themselves.

We feel the independence this provides is exceptional and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who has helped set this project in motion. To help provide more people with these life-changing skills please donate.
