AID IN BEKAA VALLEY

Increasing numbers of Syrian refugees are arriving to Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, carrying no other possessions but the clothes on their back.

Providing core relief items, our partners Salam work closely with the local community to provide tents, clothing, mattresses, blankets, carpets and kitchen supplies – small yet meaningful items that enable arriving families to better navigate the system in Lebanon.

They also fill the gaps and provide care for chronic medical problems, taking referrals from big NGOs when they are unable to help.

Salam also assists families as they attempt to better understanding the legal and administrative systems and endeavour to overcome the day to day challenges of life as a displaced person living in Lebanon.

Help Refugees is proud to partner with Salam in Lebanon as they continue to provide essential services for the most needing.
